U.S. Consul General Vincent Paul Carver
Biography
Vincent Carver has served as the U.S. Consul General in Strasbourg since August, 2008. A Foreign Service Officer for over twenty years, Carver has also served in Paris, Moscow, Brussels, Pristina, Bonn, Bogota, San Salvador, and Riyadh. Carver hails from Connecticut and studied Foreign Affairs at Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts, and has a Master’s Degree in Education. He speaks French and Spanish as well as some German and Russian. The Department has recognized his work with four Superior Honor Awards and three Meritorious Honor Awards.
