Tips for a smooth visit
Security at the Consular Section
All official facilities are mandated to use access control procedures for all visitors and their handbags and packages. No luggage, electronic or photographic equipment is permitted in our waiting room or on other Embassy premises. All cell phones will be left with a guard before entering the waiting room.
Documentation:
Be sure to have all of your documents for your visa type.
- Sign all of your forms.
- Photos
- Mandat Compte to the account number 2006L only are accepted – no Mandat Cash (for Non-Immigrant Visas)
- Bring all original copies of Notices of Action and acceptance documentation (L, H1B, P, J, F type visas)
- J and F visa applicants need to pay SEVIS online to be issued a visa. Bring your printed receipt with your file. (for Non-Immigrant Visas)
Bring something to entertain yourself and your children.
