Welcoming Remarks at the MIOX Reception

Distinguished Guests, Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is a pleasure to host this reception in honor of MIOX Corporation this evening and a great privilege to have Mr. Carlos Perea, President and CEO of MIOX Corporation with us tonight.
As you may be aware, MIOX Corporation is a world leader in electrolytic water disinfection technology providing a safe and cost effective alternative to other available technologies such as ozone, chlorine dioxide and UV.
The company now has over 1,400 installations in the United States and in more than 30 countries.
MIOX was awarded the President’s “E” Award for Exporting Excellence and the Small Business Administration Exporter of the Year, and named one of the Top 100 Private Companies in Green Technology by Always On.
It is said that water will be to the 21st century what oil has been to the 20th century. Water scarcity, degrading water quality and increased water consumption are creating enormous challenges worldwide.
MIOX is addressing these challenges with its continued technological developments enabling access to potable water at affordable costs and treating water in a safe, reliable and cost-effective manner.
MIOX is a great example of American ingenuity at work that brings real business, environmental and technological solutions to industry and the community at large.
