You may visit our webpage on Passport Services for information on all passport applications. Online Appointment System for American Citizen Services Requiring a Personal Appearance All services are available weekdays, during the hours indicated, except on French and American holidays. American Citizen Services
Since December 2008, an online appointment system has been available for most services requiring a personal appearance in Paris.
Passport applicants may be required to make a personal appearance and schedule an appointment online.
Notarial Services for Non-Americans are provided by online appointment, Mondays at 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Consular Reports of Birth Abroad are available by telephone appointment only by calling 01.43.12.26.71.
Information on Federal Benefits services is currently available Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., except on French and American holidays.

Security at the Embassy
Please do not bring any electronic devices, such as laptop computers, Blackberries, iPods, or large bags, such as backpacks, suitcases or packages to the Consular Section as there are no storage facilities on Embassy grounds. Security guards may hold small tourist cameras and cell phones until your departure, but there is no storage available for any other large items or electronic devices — please do not bring them at the time of your appointment.
