Passport Appointments for Children
- Appointments for U.S. passport renewals for children under 16 are provided as follows: Monday through Friday at 10:00 and 10:30 a.m.
Wednesdays at 1:30 and 2:00 p.m. - If you do not see available times designated for children on the date and time you want, then children’s appointments for that day are not available. Please select another date.
- If you have more than one child to schedule, each child must have an individual appointment made separately through the online appointment scheduler.
- To schedule multiple children at the same time, choose a date and time with enough vacancies to accommodate all children. Appointments may be scheduled in the same time slot for each child if the calendar shows enough vacancies.
- Applicants aged 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 may schedule appointments during children or adult appointment times except during two-week French School Holidays.
- Peak Travel Periods: During peak travel periods, 2:30 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. appointments may be available. Appointments at 2:30 and 3:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday are open to both adults and children. Appointments at 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday are reserved for children.
If your request for a passport is due to an unexpected event (i.e. death in the family, medical problem) and you need to travel quickly, refer to our U.S. limited passport book (emergency passport) information.
When completing the appointment form, remember that:
- Surname means Last Name
- Given Name means First Name
Remember, to keep the appointment UID and password, but you do not have to print out the confirmation!
