The Information Resource Center
The Information Resource Center provides authoritative and timely background on the content and context of U.S. policy issues and American society. It offers research, reference and documentation services on American foreign and domestic policies, including political and legislative developments, defense and security matters, social, economic and environmental issues, people, and institutions.
· Web Alerts are annotated lists of web links to government documents, congressional hearings and think tank reports prepared by the Information Resource Center. They cover the following subjects: “Environment,” “Foreign Policy - Defense,” and “Political and Social Issues.”
· Article Alert is a free aggregation and digest service, prepared by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of International Information Programs, that links readers to interesting and informative periodical literature (magazine and other journal articles) on a variety of topics including “American Life,” “Economy,” “Global Challenges,” and “International Relations.”
· EJournal USA, published monthly by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of International Information Programs, examines major issues facing the United States and the international community, as well as U.S. society, values, thought, and institutions. · Books prepared by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of International Information Programs provide in-depth information about the United States policies, society, history, literature and about the arts and sports.
