Program with Speaker Marvin Duncan

Public Affairs and the Agricultural Section organized a one-day program for Marvin Duncan, Senior Economist, Office of Energy Policy at the U.S. Department of Agriculture on February 11, 2010. He met with Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Ecology advisors as well as the French bioindustry to provide up-to-date information on renewable energies in rural America. At the French Chamber of Agriculture, in front of 60 experts from media, other Embassies, and think tanks, he stressed U.S. strategies and funding for energies which will reduce U.S. greenhouse gas emissions and create new green jobs.
