The French-American Foundation and the U.S. Embassy organized a breakfast debate for 40 experts from business and government on "U.S. Clean Energy Investments" featuring David E. Rodgers, Director for Strategic Planning and Analysis, Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, U.S. Department of Energy. After describing the energy elements of the American Reinvestment Act of 2009, an Act which he views as a kick-start to the clean energy revolution, he reviewed the Renewable and Efficiency Deployment Initiative announced by Secretary Chu in Copenhagen.
