January 20, 2010
The U.S. Ambassador to France, Charles Rivkin participated to a debate on the following theme: "Has President Obama, like his predecessor George W. Bush, lost France as an ally? And is the U.S. president unduly ignoring Europe to curry favor with larger world players like China and India?"
Journalists asked those and other questions during an hour and a half with U.S. Ambassador to France, Charles Rivkin, and three of France's most preeminent experts on the U.S., Secretary of State for European Affairs Pierre Lellouche, former French foreign minister Hubert Vedrine and the President of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee, Axel Poniatowski.
