On the eve on his concert in Paris, Tony Bennett and wife Susan attended an exceptional screening of the documentary film The Zen of Bennett at Ambassador Rivkin’s Residence. This new documentary, conceived and created by Tony Bennett’s son Danny, was released to critical acclaim in April at the Tribeca Film Festival.
It is an intimate portrait of Tony Bennett’s creative process within the context of his most recent recording project, DUETS II, which was released last fall on the occasion of his 85th birthday. Presented in first person narrative, this documentary is a reflection on his 60-year career, painting an insightful portrait of the artist as he discusses his philosophies of life, lessons learned, and his passion for art and music.
