Ambassador Rivkin hosts an Iftar Dinner
On September 8, Ambassador Rivkin and Ms. Susan Tolson hosted an Iftar dinner at their residence. Many personalities attended, such as Secretary of State Nora Berra, and other government officials. Mohamed Moussaoui, president of the French Committee for the Muslim Faith (CFCM), as well as other prominent religious leaders were present. The highlight of this year’s Iftar was the strong presence of young talents including young deputy mayors from around the Paris region. This new generation is emerging as a generation dedicated to cultural exchange and dialogue, values Ambassador Rivkin underlined in his remarks, including through references to President Obama’s speech in Cairo.
