Visit of the U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner to Paris

U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner stopped in Paris at the end of his four-day trip to Europe and the Middle East to discuss a range of issues, including collaborative efforts to bring about a sound and sustainable recovery from the global economic and financial crisis. In Paris, he first met with Prime Minister François Fillon and then Finance Minister Christine Lagarde.
He was interviewed by journalists from Le Monde and participated in a webchat and a video interview at Les Echos.
