Visit of Greg Deason President for the Association of University Research Parks

During his four-day program in France, Gregory Deason, Director of the Purdue Research Park and President for the Association of University Research Parks, presented to French audiences the history of university research parks in the U.S. Deason described their organization and their impact on local economic growth. He spoke with government officials at the Ministry of Research and managers of three French research parks, and gave presentations to students as well as to academics, experts, local officials and businessmen. He also participated in a conference on clusters and parks organized by France-Ameriques to celebrate the organization's 100th anniversary.
