Jonathan Wiener, Professor of Environmental Law at Duke University, Lectures in Paris and Strasbourg

Public Affairs invited Jonathan Wiener, Professor of Environmental Law at Duke University to give lectures at the Embassy as well as in Paris and Strasbourg Universities on "Differences in Risk Perceptions in Europe and in the United States." A better understanding of these differences could help governments in implementing "Better Regulation."
Professor Wiener also participated in a conference organized by France-Ameriques on the reciprocal influence of Supreme Courts.
