Ambassador's Visit to Toulouse and Lourdes
June 16-17, 2006
On June 16, Ambassador Stapleton did a tour of the Toulouse Space Center (CNES) where he had lunch with space executives.
Then he visited the Musee des Augustins, Saint Sernin basilica, and Jacobins cloister. He had dinner at Brigadier General's residence with local contacts.
On June 17, he visited the Pic du Midi observatory and in Lourdes, his lunch at bishop's residence with Lourdes mayor, Prefet and local officials was followed by a visit of Lourdes sanctuaries.
