Ambassador's Visit to Toulouse and Albi
December 9-10, 2005
In Toulouse, Ambassador Stapleton had breakfast with American aerospace representatives, he visited Airbus Industries site and met with Airbus executives; he had lunch with Prefet and civil society leaders; he did a speech on globalization at the Toulouse Institute of Political Science; he met with regional press directors.
Then he visited an American photographer's exhibit at photography museum; he was invited to a reception at Toulouse city hall with local contacts.
In Albi, he visited the cathedral, the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum, attended the award ceremony for Histoires Croisees competition (high school class won second prize) and a reception at Prefecture with local contacts.
