Ambassador's Visit to Strasbourg
November 3-4, 2005
In Strasbourg, the Ambassador visited IRCAD (pioneer in transatlantic telesurgery); he gave courtesy calls on Prefect, President of Alsace Region, President of General Council of Bas-Rhin, Mayor of Strasbourg; he met with representative of Regional Council of Muslim Cult, visited the Consulate General staff.
He was given a tour of Strasbourg and then visited the Cathedral and the Fine Arts Museum; he participated to a dinner-debate on Franco-American relations hosted by the association Alsace – Etats-Unis.
On November 4, he was invited to a luncheon hosted by regional chapter of American Chamber of Commerce and met with regional press. At ENA (Ecole Nationale d'Administration), he gave a lecture on globalization.
