Deauville Film Festival 2005
On September 2, Ambassador Stapleton inaugurated the 31st American Film Festival in Deauville (Normandy). Deauville's highly publicized American Film Festival is a much sought-after opportunity for American filmmakers to introduce their work to the French public. The Ambassador's visit, coordinated by Public Affairs and APP Rennes, received significant coverage by the print and televised media.
