Forum du Futur Breakfast Debate, Park Hyatt Hotel, Paris

The Ambassador was the guest of honor at a breakfast organized by the Forum du Futur at the Park Hyatt, 5 rue de la Paix, Paris, on Wednesday December 1.

The Forum du Futur is gathering about 60 high-ranking French and foreign government officials, media and intellectuals for discussions. He was greeted on arrival at the Hyatt Hotel by the President of the Forum du Futur, Jacques Baumel, and the Secretary General, Hélène de Rochefort.

He delivered remarks on The United States and France after the Elections.

The Forum du Futur was founded by Jacques Baumel in 1980. At that time, he was a Deputy in the National Assembly and an active political figure in the RPR (Gaullist Rally for the Republic party). The Forum du Futur is a non-partisan and non-profit organization sponsored by grants, contributions, and membership fees.

The board of directors is composed of distinguished senior French and international personalities such as Hélène Carrère d’ Encausse from the Académie Française. It organizes conferences, roundtables, working breakfasts and luncheons.
