Greetings from Paris! On behalf of the Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC), US Embassy, Paris, France, we would like to invite you to Eurosatory 2010, the world's largest land & air defense armament exhibition.  It will take place from 14-18 June 2010 at Paris-Nord Villepinte, France. Eurosatory is an occasion to promote U.S. security interests and illustrate our commitment to NATO and allied interoperability.  It also offers an excellent opportunity to forge coalition partnerships for the future.  America’s defense industries play a significant role in this effort as they display their newest products to the international audience. 

The ODC’s mission in supporting Eurosatory is to coordinate meaningful exchanges between visiting US DoD and government officials and their French counterparts in matters pertaining to defense cooperation in armaments.  To that end, ODC France and the US Embassy team are prepared to support you in making your visit to this year’s event as productive as possible.  

DoD participation in the show has been approved.  Updated hotel information will be provided via the ODC website listed above as it becomes available.  For this event, the DoD approved hotel will be the Hotel Intercontinental Paris Le Grand, located adjacent to the Paris Opera House in the center of Paris.  To ensure that a room will be available, all requests for lodging should be booked NLT 01 April 2010.  Bus transportation to and from the show will be provided for those staying at the DoD approved hotel, with priority given to military personnel in uniform.  Please check this website frequently for trade show updates to include updates on access badge information, hotel reservations, etc.

To effectively plan your visit, our guests are reminded that opening day is Monday, 14 June.  Government, military, industry and press representatives are welcome from that day through Friday, 18 June.
