E Visas for Family Members of Current E-Visa Holders

Web-based scheduling is now available for all E-1/E-2 dependents. If you are not an E Visa dependent, please continue to follow the procedures contained on the following page: Treaty/Trader

Application Procedures for Family Members of Treaty Trader/Investors

If you are the legally married spouse or unmarried child under the age of 21 of an E visa holder, you may schedule your appointment for a derivative visa on-line, even if the business in the U.S. is not registered with the Embassy.  This visa is based on the validity of the principal applicant’s visa; thus he/she must obtain their visa first.

In order to obtain a derivative E Visa, each family member must submit an Electronic Visa Application Form (EVAF) DS-156, a Supplemental Nonimmigrant Visa Application DS-157 (if applicable), a Mandat-Compte original receipt, and a visa-sized photo.  In addition, derivative applicants must submit a photocopy of the principal applicant’s E Visa, as well as a copy of the marriage certificate (Acte de Marriage) or birth certificate (Acte de Naissance) showing proof of the relationship between the principal applicant and the derivative family members.  Please be aware that all applicants above the age of 14 and under the age of 80 must appear at the embassy for a personal interview.

To schedule your appointment, please use the following website: usavisa-france.com
