What is the 2016 SelectUSA Investment Summit?

When and where?
The Summit will begin on June 19th with an optional add-on Summit Academy that will cover the basics of investing in the United States and attracting foreign direct investment (FDI). The high-profile speaking program, Exhibition Hall, and other activities will take place June 20-21, 2016 at the Washington Hilton in Washington, DC.

What happened at the 2015 SelectUSA Investment Summit?
By all accounts, the 2015 SelectUSA Investment Summit hosted by President Barack Obama on March 23-24, was a tremendous success for the United States and the entrepreneurs who invest in our communities.
We welcomed more than 2,000 participants to Washington, DC from more than 70 international markets, including companies and business associations as well as economic development organizations (EDOs) from all 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and Guam. The event was filled to capacity, and we expect the same to happen in 2016.
How much does it cost to attend and what is included?
The Summit Academy will take place on June 19, 2016 and is an additional fee of $150. This Academy will present the basics of investing and include a post-Academy networking reception for all attendees. For more information on the Academy click here
The high-level Summit program will take place June 20-21, 2016 and costs $725. The Summit fee includes access to high-level plenary and breakout panel sessions, use of a robust matchmaking system, an exhibit hall filled with economic development officials from across the United States, breakfast and lunch each day, coffee breaks, and an opening network reception on June 20th.
