If you are calling to report the death or serious health issue of an American citizen in France, or about a missing person or child, please call: 01-43-12-22-22 and then dial 0 (zero) when you hear the automated greeting.

Please note that we only reply to questions that cannot be answered by referring to the American Citizen Services website pages; we do not answer French or U.S. visa questions from these email boxes.
The Embassy cannot act as a booking agent for airlines, train companies, or hotels, and travelers should inquire directly with these entities for information about cancelled flights or other disruptions to planned travel. However, travelers who find themselves stranded or otherwise without resources or means of assistance can contact the Embassy for assistance.
